By combining traditional Balkan music with the energy of rock, metal and electro KermesZ à l'Est is a unique brass-based band that transports its audiences to the wilds of Eastern Europe, with a repertoire that rocks out and gets the party burning. Kicking ass at Womad in the UK in 2018 and lauded by Songlines in several pieces also in 2018. These guys are brilliant live!

More than a band, KermesZ à l'Est is more like a freak circus, travelling with home-made props, beers and scenery, "genetically" modified instruments and much more in a totally offbeat universe. Eight incredible musicians and their inseparable leather jackets, invariably turning European audiences into a boiling cauldron of dancers for over a decade. Always done in a completely off-beat unique way, a Balkan-metal brass band from Belgium.
