BRATH is the band that in 1980 combined Galician folk instruments with rock, drums and electric guitars and with a new vision of Galician music, a revolution, beginning a path that would influence many bands from Galicia.
with an excellent release in 2017 in Europe with the album Enexbre on Sons Galizia they cemented their position as a band still relevent and full of fire and passion

Brath was born with the philosophy of bringing young people to Galician roots music, from the beginning to meld different styles of music such as pop and rock, to create a new Galician music part of the tradition. In 35 years led by Eloi Caldeiro recorded 11 albums and many soundtracks for film and tv.
He's participated in collective records and compilations, 2001 appointed to the Music Awards with the song "Burka" as best song, also BRATH took his music to many countries in Europe and America in about 1000 concerts performed in these 35 years.
From key iconic places like Auditorio Monte do Gozo in Santiago, the Auditorium Garcia Barbon Vigo, the Opera House La Coruna, Madrid's Teatro Real, Manuel de Falla Auditorium in Granada, Campoamor Theatre in Oviedo, Centro Cultural de la Villa (Madrid) Auditorium Monjuich in Barcelona, Expo 92 in Seville, ... are some of the milestones that have hosted music BRATH.
Also have performed at supreme festivals eg. Interceltique de L'Orient (Britain), Ortigueira Festival, Festival Celta Vigo Segovia Folk Festival Murcia from Portugal, France, and America: Argentina, Brazil, and hundreds of appearances in radio and TV.
In 2018 with 38 years of a musical career Brath have shared the same space and stage with many key artists of the folk world: Alan Stivell, Boys of the Lough, Oskorri, Kepa Junquera, Davy Spillane, and many more... now we move onwards and tour via Frusion in the coming years.
