"Satu" translated from Finnish means Story or fairytale, so this band presents narrative and lyrical music enriched by a strong emotional and personal approach and the intimate interaction of everybody involved.
The unity of voice and instruments breaks common genre limits and invites the audience to a colourful journey where folk, song writing, blues, jazz, pop and tango unite. Satuo's 3rd album in 2017, it will include Finnish, Austrian, French and American influences and of course many of those special instruments that define the unique sound of the group, like the banjo, the musical saw or a melodica.
